About this training
In asana, there is something visible to observe a posture, a movement, an alignment, a direction of practice. As we move towards Pratyahara, the nature of practice becomes more subtle. The attention gradually turns inward, and what you begin to observe may not always be visible to another person.
This is what makes learning to teach Yoga Nidra different. The practice has a method and a structure. But the experience that unfolds through it can be different for each practitioner. So how do you learn to recognise these subtle experiences in your own practice and eventually translate that understanding into meaningful guidance for another person?
That is the focus of this training. Over four weeks, we explore the origins and references of Yoga Nidra, how its practices and approaches have evolved, and how they are understood and practised today.
Every day combines practice, observation and discussion, giving you space to develop your own experience and understand what is happening within the practice. From there, the training moves towards teaching: learning how to observe, communicate, structure and guide Yoga Nidra with greater clarity and sensitivity.
Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–1:30 PM
The program concludes with a written examination and one-on-one viva, followed by assignments to be completed within three months for certification.
Practice. Understand. Teach.
Because teaching Yoga Nidra is not simply about learning what to say. It is about learning to understand subtle experience and knowing how to guide another person through their own practice.
If you are considering this training, write to us about your practice so far and what you hope to understand better. We read every note and reply in a day or two, plainly, so you can decide whether this batch is the right one for you.
